Archangel Metatron: Complete Guide

Who Is Archangel Metatron?
Archangel Metatron stands as one of the most unique and powerful archangels—the supreme embodiment of sacred geometry, the keeper of divine records, and humanity's guide to spiritual ascension. Unlike other archangels who were created as angels, Metatron is believed to have been human first—the prophet Enoch who walked with God and was transformed into an archangel. This makes him the ultimate bridge between human and divine, Earth and Heaven.
While Michael wields the sword of protection, Gabriel carries the trumpet of revelation, Raphael holds the staff of healing, Uriel bears the flame of wisdom, Chamuel radiates love, Jophiel shines beauty, Zadkiel transmutes through mercy, and Ariel grounds through nature, Metatron operates through sacred geometry and divine structure—organizing cosmic order, recording all existence, and guiding souls toward ascension through the Merkaba and sacred patterns.
Metatron's name is unique—it doesn't end in "-el" (meaning "of God") like other archangels. Various theories suggest it means "One Who Guards" or "Angel of the Presence." This reveals Metatron's essence: the closest angel to the Divine Throne, the scribe of God, and the teacher of sacred structure.
