Collection: Shadow Work

The Parts You've Hidden Are the Parts That Hold Your Power.

Shadow work is the practice of turning toward what you've been taught to turn away from — the emotions, patterns, and beliefs buried beneath the surface of your conscious self. It is not comfortable work. But it is the most transformative work you will ever do.

The shadow is not your enemy. It is the part of you still waiting to come home.

🌑 What Is Shadow Work?

Carl Jung called it "making the unconscious conscious." Every spiritual tradition has its own version of it. Shadow work is the deliberate practice of meeting the hidden parts of yourself — the suppressed emotions, inherited patterns, and disowned beliefs — with honesty, compassion, and courage. It moves through five stages:

  • Awareness — recognize the patterns, triggers, and wounds operating beneath the surface
  • Integration — bring the hidden parts of yourself into conscious relationship
  • Release — let go of the stories, shame, and survival strategies that no longer serve you
  • Reclamation — retrieve the power, gifts, and authentic self buried in the shadow
  • Wholeness — become a person who is no longer at war with themselves

You don't have to destroy your darkness. You have to understand it. That's when it stops running your life.
