No. You can complete the test with your birth date alone. Without an exact birth time, the tool calculates an approximate solar position at 12:00 UTC on your date of birth.
If you know your birth time, you can also enter the historical UTC offset used at your birthplace on that date. This allows the calculation to use a more precise moment. Near a Sun-sign boundary, a date-only result may be uncertain, and the tool will flag that uncertainty rather than assume a definitive sign.
Birthplace coordinates are not necessary for this limited geocentric Sun calculation. A full natal chart with an Ascendant, houses, and other location-dependent factors would require additional birth information.
