What Inner Guidance Is NOT:

  • Not your anxiety: Fear-based thoughts are not guidance
  • Not your ego: The voice that needs to be right or look good
  • Not others' opinions: Even well-meaning advice isn't your truth
  • Not your conditioning: What you were taught to believe

What Inner Guidance IS:

  • Quiet knowing: Calm, neutral, matter-of-fact
  • Body-based: Felt in your gut, heart, or whole being
  • Consistent: The same message, again and again
  • Expansive: Opens possibilities, even if uncomfortable
  • Timeless: No urgency, just clarity

Practice: When you get a "hit," check: Does my body relax or tense? Do I feel expansion or contraction? That's your answer.

Step 5: Track Your Accuracy

Practice: Keep an Inner Guidance Journal. Write down your gut feelings, then note what actually happened. You'll see your accuracy is higher than you think.

Step 6: Start Small

Don't test your inner voice on life-or-death decisions. Build trust with low-stakes choices.

Practice: Use inner guidance for small things: which route to take, what to eat, who to call. Notice when you're right. Celebrate it.

Step 7: Act on Guidance (Even When It's Scary)

Guidance without action is useless. The more you act on your inner voice, the stronger it gets.

Practice: When you receive clear guidance, act within 24 hours. Don't wait for more certainty. Trust and move.

What You Need:

Morning Check-In:

Before getting out of bed, ask: "Inner wisdom, what do I need to know today?" Notice the first thing that comes.

Decision-Making Practice:

For any decision, close your eyes. Imagine choosing option A. Notice how your body feels. Then imagine option B. Your body will tell you which is right.

Evening Reflection:

Review your day. When did you listen to your inner voice? When did you ignore it? What happened in each case?
