Fifth Pentacle of the Sun: The Complete Guide for the Serious Practitioner
Share
The Fifth Pentacle of the Sun is one of the most specialized and most powerful instruments in the Solomonic magical tradition — a precise ceremonial seal designed for the advanced practitioner who works within the framework of Solomonic evocation and who seeks the assistance of specific solar spirits in operations of swift movement, astral projection, distance working, and the bridging of realms. This complete guide brings together everything the serious practitioner needs to know to work with the Fifth Pentacle effectively.
What the Fifth Pentacle Is
The Fifth Pentacle of the Sun is a Solomonic pentacle — a precise spiritual contract encoded in sacred geometry — from the Key of Solomon, the most influential grimoire in the history of Western occultism. It is not a general travel talisman or a general solar charm; it is a specialized ceremonial instrument for summoning specific spirits whose nature is bound to swift movement, instantaneous displacement, and the collapsing of space between points of will.
Its sacred geometry incorporates divine names, angelic signatures, and geometric forms that together constitute a complete spiritual contract: the practitioner's identity and authority, the specific spirits being invoked, and the specific operation being requested.
What the Fifth Pentacle Does
The Fifth Pentacle of the Sun summons solar spirits of swift movement to assist with: astral projection (initial separation, astral navigation, and safe return); distance working (the swift movement of energy, intention, or influence across physical distance); and spirit communication (the summoning of spiritual intermediaries who serve as messengers and movers between realms).
Who It Is For
The Fifth Pentacle is explicitly intended for the advanced practitioner — one who works within the framework of Solomonic evocation, who understands the nature of the spirits being summoned, and who has the preparation and knowledge to work with those spirits effectively. It is not a beginner's instrument; it is a ceremonial tool for serious magical work.
How to Work with It
Charge it: Place the pentacle in direct sunlight during the hour of the Sun — ideally Sunday morning — and speak your activation intention. The gold plating aligns with the Sun's planetary correspondence and amplifies the solar charging.
Personalize it: Engrave your name or sigil on the front to claim the seal's power. Engrave a date or affirmation on the back to mark your magical commitment.
Work with it: Hold the pentacle during evocation or astral work. State your intention clearly and specifically. Invoke the divine names. Make your request to the spirits of swift movement. Close the working formally when complete.
Maintain it: Re-charge monthly under sunlight. Clean regularly. Store wrapped in natural cloth when not in use.
