Many confuse houses and signs, but they're fundamentally different:

- 1st House (Ascendant): Your physical body and personality—how you enter the world
- 4th House (IC): Your roots and foundation—where you come from
- 7th House (Descendant): Your relationships—who you meet
- 10th House (Midheaven): Your public role—what you achieve
