I Cast My First Spell of Will: What Happened Next
Share
BY NICOLE LAU
Three months ago, I cast my first spell. I was nervous, uncertain, and didn't know if I was "doing it right." But I used the First Spell of Will kit, spoke my truth, and trusted the process. This is what happened next.
My First Spell
What I Declared
"I will create work that aligns with my soul and supports me abundantly."
The Ritual
New Moon in Capricorn. Candle lit. Wrote my statement with shaking hands. Placed it on the sigil. Played the audio. Visualized. Spoke: "My will is spoken. So it is."
Immediate Feeling
Something shifted. I felt different. More certain. Like I'd crossed a threshold. My magic had begun.

What I Learned
Lesson 1: You Don't Need to Know Everything
I didn't know if I was doing it "right." I just spoke my truth clearly. That was enough.
Lesson 2: Clarity Is Power
My spell wasn't complex. It was clear. "I will..." Simple. Powerful. Effective.
Lesson 3: The Universe Responds to Will
When you speak your will—not your hope, your WILL—the universe listens and responds.
Lesson 4: Your First Spell Is Sacred
This wasn't just a spell. It was a threshold. The moment my magic began. The moment I became a practitioner.
Your First Spell Awaits
You don't need to be experienced. You don't need to know everything. You just need to speak your will clearly and trust.
Get the First Spell of Will kit. Cast your spell. Begin your magic. Watch what happens next. For deepening your practice, I've found the 40 Manifestation Rituals guide invaluable for weaving intention into daily life, and the Sacred Space Cleanse ritual helps keep the energetic field bright between workings. The 13 New Moon Rituals workbook is a beautiful companion for timing your magic with the lunar cycle, just as I did with my Capricorn new moon.
