I Practiced Open the Abundance Gate for 30 Days: Gates Wide Open

BY NICOLE LAU

Why I Started This Experiment

I had a receiving problem. Opportunities would appear, money would be offered, people would try to help and I would deflect, refuse, or find reasons why I could not accept. I would minimize compliments, reject gifts, and feel deeply uncomfortable when prosperity tried to reach me.

I knew intellectually that I was blocking abundance, but I could not seem to stop. My gates were closed, and I did not know how to open them.

That is when I committed to 30 days with Open the Abundance Gate. I wanted to see if I could actually dissolve my receiving blocks and open my gates to prosperity. Here is what happened.

The Protocol

I kept it simple and consistent:

  • One 20-minute Open the Abundance Gate session every Sunday evening
  • Headphones, quiet space, full intention to open my gates
  • Journaled after each session in my Money Manifestation Journal
  • Performed Unlock the Gate Ritual on days 1, 10, 20, and 30
  • Tracked every receiving experience
  • Practiced receiving throughout the week

Week 1: The Awareness Phase (Days 1-7)

Day 1: First Session

I did the Unlock the Gate Ritual first to symbolically open my gates. Then I pressed play on Open the Abundance Gate.

The audio guided me to identify my closed gates. I became acutely aware of how often I blocked receiving. I cried during the session. I had not realized how closed I was, or how much it was costing me.

Days 2-7: Painful Awareness

The first week was about becoming conscious of my receiving blocks:

  • Noticing every time I deflected a compliment
  • Catching myself refusing help automatically
  • Feeling the discomfort when someone tried to give to me
  • Recognizing the unworthiness underneath it all

I did not receive much better yet, but I was aware of the problem.

Week 2: The Initial Opening (Days 8-14)

Day 10: Ritual + Audio Combo

On day 10, I did another Unlock the Gate Ritual + Open the Abundance Gate session. This created a powerful opening.

During the audio, I could feel my gates beginning to unlock. The unworthiness that had kept them closed was starting to dissolve.

Days 11-14: First Receiving Shifts

This week, I started receiving differently:

  • Day 11: Accepted a compliment with simple thank you, no deflecting
  • Day 12: Said yes to help offered instead of automatic refusal
  • Day 13: Received a gift without immediately reciprocating or feeling guilty
  • Day 14: Accepted an unexpected $200 opportunity without questioning if I deserved it

Small shifts, but significant. My gates were cracking open.

Week 3: The Deep Opening (Days 15-21)

Days 15-17: Blocks Dissolving

By week three, I could feel my core receiving blocks dissolving:

  • The unworthiness that said I do not deserve this
  • The fear that said receiving is dangerous
  • The guilt that said I should not have more
  • The control that said I can only receive what I earn

These were not just thoughts changing. The emotional charge behind them was dissolving.

Days 18-21: Gates Opening Wide

This week, receiving became noticeably easier:

  • Day 18: Accepted help with a project, saved me 10 hours of work
  • Day 19: Received a surprise $500 client bonus gracefully
  • Day 20: Said yes to a collaboration opportunity I would have previously refused
  • Day 21: Accepted multiple compliments naturally throughout the day

On day 20, I did another Unlock the Gate Ritual + audio session. My gates felt wide open.

Week 4: The Natural Receiving (Days 22-30)

Days 22-28: Receiving as Default

By week four, receiving felt natural and comfortable:

  • Accepting compliments without thought
  • Saying yes to help automatically
  • Receiving gifts with genuine gratitude and no guilt
  • Allowing prosperity to reach me easily

This week brought:

  • Day 23: Received an unexpected $800 referral fee
  • Day 25: Accepted a free resource worth $300
  • Day 27: Said yes to a speaking opportunity with a $1,000 fee
  • Day 28: Received help, gifts, and opportunities throughout the day, all accepted gracefully

Day 30: Final Ritual + Results

On day 30, I did my final Unlock the Gate Ritual + Open the Abundance Gate session. Not as an ending, but as an anchoring.

Receiving capacity transformation:

  • Before: Deflected 80%+ of what was offered, received maybe 20%
  • After: Received 80%+ of what was offered, deflected maybe 20%

Tangible results:

  • $2,500 in money and opportunities I would have previously refused
  • Countless hours saved by accepting help
  • Resources, connections, and support I would have deflected
  • Natural, comfortable receiving as my new default

What Actually Changed

Internal Shifts

  • Unworthiness dissolved: From I do not deserve this to I am worthy of receiving
  • Fear transformed: From receiving is dangerous to it is safe to receive
  • Guilt released: From I should not have more to I can receive and so can others
  • Gates opened: From closed and blocked to open and receptive

External Results

  • Receiving capacity: 80%+ acceptance rate vs. 20% before
  • Money received: $2,500 in opportunities I would have refused
  • Help accepted: Saved countless hours by saying yes to support
  • Prosperity flow: Abundance reaching me easily vs. being blocked

The Unexpected Benefits

  • Relationships improved: Letting people give to me deepened connections
  • Energy increased: Not fighting against receiving freed up massive energy
  • Opportunities multiplied: Open gates attracted more to flow through
  • Self-worth restored: Receiving reflected back my worthiness

What I Did Right

Consistency

I did not skip my weekly sessions. Even when I felt resistant, I practiced. Weekly consistency created the gate opening momentum.

Ritual Support

The Unlock the Gate Ritual every 10 days created powerful openings that amplified the audio.

Tracking Everything

Journaling every receiving experience in my Money Manifestation Journal helped me see the transformation clearly.

The Challenges

Discomfort with Receiving

The first two weeks, receiving felt deeply uncomfortable. I had to consciously override the urge to deflect or refuse.

Guilt Surfacing

When I started receiving more, guilt surfaced. I had to consciously release it.

Fear of Dependence

Accepting help triggered fear of becoming dependent or weak. I had to reframe receiving as strength, not weakness.

What I Am Doing Now

After the 30-day intensive, I have continued:

  • Open the Abundance Gate once per week on Sunday evenings
  • Monthly Unlock the Gate Ritual + audio combo at new moon
  • Continue practicing receiving daily

My gates have stayed open. Receiving is now natural and comfortable.

Who Should Try This

  • Anyone who deflects compliments or refuses help
  • People who feel uncomfortable receiving gifts or money
  • Those who sabotage when prosperity appears
  • Anyone with unworthiness, guilt, or fear around receiving
  • People ready to open their gates and allow abundance to flow

Final Thoughts

This 30-day journey with Open the Abundance Gate fundamentally transformed my relationship with worthiness, deservingness, and abundance.

I went from closed gates and constant deflecting to open gates and natural receiving. If you are ready to open your gates, commit to the 30 days. Your open gates are waiting.

More Ways to Deepen Your Practice

If you've ever felt like your practice isn't going deep enough β€”
like your mind stays busy, your body never fully settles, or the space around you feels distracting β€”
it's often not about discipline.

It's about environment.

The right environment doesn't just support your practice β€” it becomes part of it.
When space, scent, sound, and intention align, the shift in awareness happens more naturally and more deeply.

Imagine this:
sacred symbols on the walls, soft fabric against your skin, a steady place to sit.
A match is struck. Smoke rises β€” bergamot, frankincense β€” something ancient and grounding.
Sound moves quietly in the background, and time begins to slow.

You don't force the state.
You arrive in it.

This is what a ritual feels like when every element is aligned.

If you want to make your practice feel like this, start simple:

You don't need everything.
Just one element can change the entire experience.

The tools that help create this space β€” and how to use them in your own practice:

Tapestries

Sacred symbols woven into fabric become silent guardians of the space β€” helping the mind cross the threshold from the ordinary into the sacred. Designed to anchor your ritual environment and hold energetic intention throughout your practice.

Yoga Mats

A dedicated surface signals to body and spirit alike: this is where the work begins. Everything else falls away. Built for comfort and stability, so your body can settle fully while your awareness expands.

Audio Meditations

Let sound do what the mind cannot do alone. In the stillness it creates, intuition finds its voice. Guided sessions crafted to deepen receptivity, clear mental noise, and prepare you for meaningful spiritual work.

Ritual Kits

When the tools are already gathered, the only thing left is intention. Light something. Begin. Thoughtfully assembled sets that bring together everything needed for a complete, intentional ceremony.

Personal Practice Journals

Every reading, every vision, every quiet knowing β€” written down before the ordinary world reclaims it. Structured to support reflection, pattern recognition, and the long-term deepening of your practice.

Apparel

What you wear into a ritual becomes part of it. Soft, intentional, yours. Designed for ease of movement and energetic comfort, from morning meditation to evening ceremony.

Aromatherapy Candles

A flame changes a room. Let the scent that rises with it mark the beginning of something set apart from the rest of the day. Formulated with sacred botanicals to cleanse energy, anchor intention, and deepen meditative states.

Books

Some knowledge can only be absorbed slowly, over many readings. Let the right book become a companion to your practice. Curated titles spanning mysticism, ritual, and esoteric wisdom β€” to take your understanding further.
