Mabon Light Path Feast: Celebrating with Autumn Abundance
Share
BY NICOLE LAU
Food is one of the most embodied ways we celebrate. At Mabon, when harvest is complete and balance is perfect, feasting becomes an act of gratitude and celebration. The Light Path approach to the Mabon feast: celebrating the harvest that's already gathered, honoring the abundance that nourishes, and trusting that gratitude opens us to receive more.
Traditional Mabon Foods
Apples: Mabon's signature food. Fresh apples, apple pie, apple cider, baked apples.
Grapes and Wine: Harvest transformed and preserved.
Autumn Vegetables: Squash, pumpkins, root vegetables.
Nuts and Seeds: Concentrated nourishment.
Bread: Sustained nourishment, transformation that serves life.
Sample Feast Menu
Apple cider, autumn salad with apples and nuts, roasted root vegetables, squash soup, bread with herb butter, apple pie, wine or grape juice.
The Feast Blessing
"Blessed be this food, this feast, this celebration. Blessed be Mabon, the autumn equinox, the perfect balance. We give thanks for harvest gathered, for abundance flowing, for the earth's generosity. Blessed Mabon."
Blessed feasting. Blessed Mabon. 💡🍂✨
This seasonal balance and harvest energy is something I find deeply supported by the Sacred Space Cleanse ritual kit for clearing the home before gathering, the 13 New Moon Rituals for setting intentions aligned with the harvest, the Cosmic Alignment Ritual Kit for syncing with the equinox's celestial flow, the Emotional Filter Ritual Kit to release any heaviness before the feast, and the 40 Manifestation Rituals for turning gratitude into sustained abundance through the coming season.
