BY NICOLE LAU
When the New Moon occurs in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, you're invited to plant seeds of courageous joy, bold new beginnings, and warrior-hearted action. This is the most potent New Moon for initiating fresh starts, claiming your independence, and manifesting with fierce, joyful courage. The Aries New Moon asks: What do you want to pioneer? What requires your warrior spirit? Where are you ready to be boldly, unapologetically yourself?
Understanding Aries New Moon Energy
Aries is the cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars, the planet of action, courage, and desire. When the New Moon falls in Aries (typically March 21 - April 19), this fiery, initiating energy combines with the New Moon's fresh-start potential to create a powerful portal for:
Bold Beginnings: Aries is the sign of firsts—first to act, first to lead, first to dare. This New Moon supports starting anything that requires courage.
Independent Action: Aries energy is fiercely independent. Set intentions around autonomy, self-reliance, and doing things your way.
Warrior Spirit: This is the time to fight for what you want, stand up for yourself, and channel your inner warrior with joy.
Passionate Pursuit: Aries follows desire without apology. What do you want with your whole heart? Go after it now.
Aries New Moon Ritual: Step by Step
Step 1: Courage Activation (10 minutes)
Listen to Moon in Aries audio to activate your courage and initiative. This practice helps you embody Aries's fearless, pioneering energy, preparing you to set intentions that require bravery and bold action.
Step 2: Warrior Stance (5 minutes)
Stand in a power pose—feet wide, hands on hips or raised in victory. Feel your warrior energy. Speak aloud: "I am courageous. I am bold. I am ready to begin." Let your body remember its power.
Step 3: Intention Setting (10 minutes)
Use New Moon intention setting audio to set your Aries intentions. Focus on what requires courage, independence, or bold action. Write intentions that start with "I boldly..." "I courageously..." "I fearlessly..."
Step 4: Will Activation (10 minutes)
Perform the First Spell of Will ritual to activate your personal power and commitment. Aries rules the will—this is your moment to claim yours fully and direct it toward your desires.
Step 5: First Action (5 minutes)
Take one immediate action toward your boldest intention. Aries doesn't wait—it acts. Send the email, make the call, take the first step. Do it now while the fire is hot.
