BY NICOLE LAU
When the New Moon occurs in Leo, the sign of creative radiance and heart-centered joy, you're invited to plant seeds of self-expression, playful celebration, and confident leadership. This is the most potent New Moon for manifesting creative projects, claiming your spotlight, and shining your light without apology. The Leo New Moon asks: What wants to be created through you? Where are you ready to shine? How can you lead with your heart?
Understanding Leo New Moon Energy
Leo is the fixed fire sign ruled by the Sun, making this New Moon about radiating your authentic light. When the New Moon falls in Leo (typically July 23 - August 22), this creative, confident energy combines with the New Moon's manifestation potential to create a powerful portal for:
Creative Expression: Leo rules creativity and self-expression. This New Moon supports starting creative projects and expressing your unique gifts.
Confidence & Radiance: Leo energy is naturally confident. Set intentions around owning your power, shining your light, and being seen.
Joy & Play: Leo is the sign of childlike joy and playfulness. Manifest through celebration, fun, and heart-centered delight.
Leadership & Generosity: Leo leads with the heart. This is the time to step into leadership and share your gifts generously.
Leo New Moon Ritual: Step by Step
Step 1: Creative Expression Activation (10 minutes)
Listen to Moon in Leo audio to activate creative expression and confident radiance. This practice helps you embody Leo's bold, heart-centered energy, preparing you to set intentions that require courage to shine.
Step 2: Inner Sunlight Meditation (10 minutes)
Use Inner Sunlight ambient audio to connect with your inner radiance. Visualize a golden sun in your heart center, growing brighter with each breath. Feel your natural light expanding, filling you with warmth and confidence.
Step 3: Sun Energy Practice (10 minutes)
Practice on The Sun tarot yoga mat or simply do sun salutations. The Sun card represents joy, success, and radiant vitality—Leo's essence. Move your body to activate your solar energy and creative fire.
Step 4: Intention Setting (10 minutes)
Set your Leo intentions focusing on creativity, confidence, and joy. Write them boldly and dramatically—Leo loves grand declarations: "I brilliantly create..." "I confidently shine..." "I joyfully express..."
Step 5: Creative Action (5 minutes)
Take one creative action right now. Start the project, share your work, perform for someone, or simply create something for the joy of it. Leo manifests through creative expression—don't wait for permission to shine.

Your creativity is not self-indulgent—it's your soul's gift to the world. Your desire to be seen is not attention-seeking—it's your heart's call to share your unique radiance. You are the sun in your own solar system, and the world needs your light.
