Common Questions
Does selenite really never need cleansing?
Correct! Selenite's vibration is so high that it self-cleanses constantly. It's one of the few crystals that never needs energetic cleansing.
Can selenite go in the sun?
Yes, briefly. Unlike amethyst or rose quartz, selenite won't fade. But avoid prolonged heat.
Is my selenite actually satin spar?
Probably! Most "selenite" sold is technically satin spar (fibrous gypsum). Both work the same metaphysically.
Why is my selenite cloudy or chalky?
Likely water exposure or high humidity. Keep selenite dry!
Can I sleep with selenite?
Yes! Selenite promotes peaceful sleep and angelic dreams. Some find it too high-vibration for sleep—test and see.
