The Physics of the Rainbow Bridge: Why the Chakras Follow the Light Spectrum

The chakra system is often depicted as a stack of colorful, spinning wheels, starting with red at the bottom and ending with violet at the top. To the modern observer, this looks like a beautiful, poetic metaphor. But the esoteric tradition did not choose these colors for aesthetic reasons. They are describing the physics of frequency.
The chakras correspond exactly to the spectrum of visible light, which is itself a measurement of electromagnetic vibration. Red (the Root Chakra) has the longest wavelength and the slowest, densest frequency. Violet (the Crown Chakra) has the shortest wavelength and the fastest, highest frequency.
When the Kundalini energy rises through the spine, it is not just moving physically upward. It is moving dimensionally upward, from a state of low-frequency density to a state of high-frequency expansion.
The Rainbow Bridge
In Norse mythology, the Bifröst is the burning rainbow bridge that connects Midgard (the realm of humans) to Asgard (the realm of the gods). The human spine, mapped with the seven chakras, is the microcosmic Bifröst.
When Kundalini (the primal, evolutionary life force) awakens at the base of the spine, it enters the lowest frequency: the red of the Root. Here, the energy is concerned entirely with survival, physical density, and fear. If the energy stays trapped here, the human lives entirely in a state of primitive anxiety.
As the energy is pushed upward through the central channel (Sushumna), it must act as an energetic solvent. It must accelerate its own vibration to penetrate the orange of the Sacral, the yellow of the Solar Plexus, and so on. With each transition, the energy becomes less dense and more ethereal.
The Refinement of Consciousness
This process of rising through the colors is the literal refinement of human consciousness.
