The Twelve Houses of Astrology: A Complete Guide to Every Area of Life

The birth chart is a circle divided into twelve sections called houses. Each house governs a specific domain of life. The planets in your chart are the energies you carry. The houses are the arenas of life where those energies play out.

The Structure of the Houses

Air houses (3rd, 7th, 11th) govern communication and relationships. Water houses (4th, 8th, 12th) govern home, transformation, and the unconscious.
