The Intuition & Dreams Altar

The Intuition & Dreams altar is one of the most evocative of the sixteen designs — an altar specifically designed to activate and deepen the practitioner's access to their intuitive intelligence and their dream life. Water is the element of the unconscious, and the unconscious communicates most clearly through intuition and dreams — through the non-linear knowing that arises unbidden and the symbolic language of the dreaming mind. The Intuition & Dreams altar creates the energetic conditions in which this communication becomes clearer, more frequent, and more accessible to the waking mind.

The Intuition & Dreams altar works with deep indigo and silver alongside Water's standard blues — indigo for the third eye and the deep intuitive perception, silver for the lunar, reflective quality of dream intelligence. Its crystals include amethyst for the activation of intuitive perception, labradorite for the magic of the between-worlds state where intuition lives, and moonstone for the lunar intelligence of the dreaming mind. Its botanicals include mugwort for prophetic dreaming and the activation of dream recall, lavender for the calm that allows the dreaming mind to speak, and blue lotus for the expansion of intuitive awareness.

The Flow & Surrender Altar

The Flow & Surrender altar addresses one of the most challenging and most liberating of Water's teachings: the practice of releasing resistance and moving with the current of life rather than against it. This altar is for the practitioner who is holding on too tightly — to an outcome, a relationship, a version of themselves, or a way of life that is no longer serving them — and who needs support in the practice of genuine surrender. It works with the softest and most flowing of Water's colors and with crystals and botanicals that support the release of control and the opening to what is.

Flow & Surrender crystals include blue calcite for the gentle release of emotional holding, aquamarine for the clear, open flow of Water at its most unobstructed, and chrysocolla for the deep feminine wisdom of surrender and the trust that flow requires. Flow & Surrender botanicals include passionflower for the release of anxiety and the opening to trust, blue lotus for the surrender of the ordinary mind to the deeper intelligence of Water, and jasmine for the sweetness of genuine receptivity.
