What If I Miss a Day? (Consistency vs Perfection)
Short answer: It's okay. Just start again.
Consistency Matters More Than Perfection
Missing one day won't ruin your progress. What matters is:
- Getting back to practice the next day
- Overall consistency over weeks
- Not using one miss as excuse to quit
- Self-compassion over self-judgment
What Happens When You Miss a Day
One day missed: No impact
2-3 days missed: Slight dip, easy to recover
Week+ missed: May need to rebuild momentum
Month+ missed: Start fresh with compassion
How to Get Back on Track

- Just play the audio today
- Recommit to daily practice
- Set reminders if needed
- Keep going
Building Sustainable Practice
- Start with realistic commitment (10 min daily)
- Set daily alarm or reminder
- Link to existing habit (morning coffee + audio)
- Forgive misses, just restart
- Celebrate consistency, not perfection
Remember: Healing is a journey, not a test. Progress over perfection.
