Why Do I Attract Negative People?

Understanding the Pattern
If you constantly attract negative, draining, or toxic people, you're not cursed—you're being shown something important about your energy, boundaries, and unhealed wounds. This pattern is a mirror reflecting what needs healing within you.
Why This Happens
Unhealed Wounds: Negative people are drawn to empaths and healers because they sense your light. But if you have unhealed wounds, you unconsciously attract people who mirror those wounds back to you.
Weak Boundaries: If you struggle to say no, set limits, or protect your energy, you become a magnet for people who take advantage of porous boundaries.
Low Self-Worth: When you don't value yourself, you accept treatment that matches that vibration. You attract people who treat you the way you treat yourself.
Savior Complex: If you believe you need to fix, save, or heal everyone, you'll attract people who need saving—often at the cost of your own wellbeing.
Vibrational Match: Like attracts like energetically. Unresolved anger, fear, or pain in you resonates with similar energy in others.
The Spiritual Lesson
These people aren't punishments—they're teachers. They show you:
- Where you need stronger boundaries
- What wounds require healing
- How you're abandoning yourself
- Where you're giving your power away
- What patterns you're ready to break
Breaking the Pattern
Heal Your Wounds: Do the inner work. Therapy, shadow work, energy healing—address what's unresolved within you.
Strengthen Boundaries: Learn to say no without guilt. Your boundaries are sacred—protect them fiercely.
Raise Your Standards: Decide what you will and won't accept. Then enforce those standards consistently.
Release the Savior Role: You can't save anyone. People must choose their own healing. Focus on saving yourself first.
Shift Your Vibration: As you heal and raise your frequency, you'll naturally repel lower-vibration people and attract aligned souls.
The Truth
You don't attract negative people because you're weak—you attract them because you're powerful but haven't fully claimed that power yet. Once you heal, set boundaries, and honor yourself, the pattern breaks. The right people will find you.
