The Second Pentacle of Venus — Key of Solomon

This pentacle originates from the legendary grimoire of King Solomon, revered across Western occult traditions as a seal of Venusian power. The Second Pentacle of Venus is the broadest and most encompassing of the five Venus seals—designed to obtain grace and honor, and to accomplish all desires that fall within the Venusian sphere. Its border carries a verse from the Song of Solomon (8:6): “Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm, for love is strong as death.” This is the Venus series' closest equivalent to a comprehensive manifestation seal—drawing favor, social esteem, romantic fulfillment, and the goodwill of those around the wearer.

Magical Application & Ritual Use

Wear this talisman when seeking to attract grace—the genuine favor and goodwill of others—or to elevate your standing in social, romantic, or professional spheres. Its scope covers all matters governed by Venus: charm and personal magnetism, the deepening of love and desire, the cultivation of honor and respect, and the fulfillment of heartfelt wishes that belong to the Venusian domain. Before wearing, hold the seal and state your intention clearly—whether for a specific relationship, a desired social outcome, or a broader opening of Venusian influence in your life. Many practitioners charge the pentacle during the hour or day of Venus (Friday) to align with its full potency. The dual-sided engraving allows personalization: inscribe your name or sigil on the front to claim the seal's power, and a date or affirmation on the back to mark your magical commitment.

Integration into Practice

Incorporate this pentacle into love rituals, attraction workings, or any operation oriented toward social grace and the fulfillment of Venusian desires. Among the five Venus pentacles, this is the one most suited to those who seek a broad and sustained opening of Venus energy across multiple areas of life simultaneously. Its durable gold-plated stainless steel construction ensures longevity through repeated energetic work and ritual use.
