A hologram is a two-dimensional surface that encodes three-dimensional information. When you shine light through it, a 3D image appears. The holographic principle in physics proposes that our entire universe works the same way: the three-dimensional reality we experience is a projection from information encoded on a two-dimensional boundary.
You are not living in 3D space. You are living in a holographic projection. And mystics have been teaching this for millennia: the material world is maya—an illusion, a projection from a higher-dimensional reality.
The Physics: What Is the Holographic Principle?
