Cold-Infusing Herbs, Resins, and Moon-Charged Oils.

Across the ancient world, aromatic oil was never merely a cosmetic or a medicine. It was understood as a medium — a physical substance capable of carrying and transmitting invisible forces: divine authority, healing power, protective energy, and sacred intention. The oil did not merely smell sacred. It was sacred, because of what it had been charged to carry.

Anointing Blends: Cold-Infusing Herbs, Resins, and Moon-Charged Oils is a comprehensive 56-page master guide to the history of sacred oil across ancient civilizations, the neuroscience of aromatic compounds, carrier oil selection, the cold infusion method aligned to lunar cycles, resin properties, and 13 complete ready-to-use anointing blend formulas for every major magical working category.

Core Knowledge & Master Blending Protocols Included:

• The Universal History of Sacred Oil: Ancient Egyptian kyphi resin compound from the temple of Edfu papyri, Greek myron in athletic and mystery religion contexts (Theophrastus, On Odors, c. 300 BCE), Ayurvedic abhyanga daily oil practice from the Charaka Samhita, and Hoodoo/Conjure condition oil tradition.
• The Neuroscience of Sacred Scent: Why olfactory signals bypass the thalamus and connect directly to the limbic system and amygdala — making scent the fastest pathway into the subconscious mind. Documented effects of linalool (lavender), alpha-pinene (rosemary/pine), eugenol (clove), and frankincense incensole acetate from peer-reviewed research.
• Carrier Oil Selection: Jojoba (Moon/indefinite shelf life), sweet almond (Mercury/divination), olive (Athena/classical tradition), sunflower (Sun/confidence), fractionated coconut (Moon/purification), castor (Saturn/fixative additive) — each with fatty acid profile, absorption rate, shelf life, and magical signature.
• Why Cold Infusion (Not Heat Infusion): Volatile compound preservation, energetic integrity of the herb’s signature, and the magical significance of the 4–6 week lunar-cycle preparation period.
• The Complete Cold Infusion Protocol: New moon start timing, the 2/3-fill herb ratio, daily shaking as intentional practice, full moon straining, and overnight moon-charging of the finished oil.
• Five Sacred Resins: Frankincense (Boswellia spp., Sun/consecration), Myrrh (Commiphora spp., Moon/death-regeneration), Dragon’s Blood (Mars/power amplification), Copal (solar elevation/Mesoamerican tradition), Benzoin (Venus/fixative preserving other scents) — each with chemistry, historical record, and oil-blending technique.
• 13 Complete Anointing Blend Formulas: Full Moon Oil, Sun King Oil, Venus Draw Oil, Fiery Wall Protection Oil, Crossroads Oil, Scholar’s Clarity Oil, Ancestral Bridge Oil, Prosperity Magnet Oil, Dreamwalker Oil, Uncrossing Oil, Healer’s Hands Oil, Deep Trance Oil, and the Universal Consecration Oil — each with carrier, herb list, resin additions, and specific anointing instructions.

Also Includes: Master Infusion Timing Calendar (8 moon phases mapped to infusion start and completion timing) and Carrier Oil Quick Reference (shelf life, absorption, magical signature, and best use).

The scent is the spell. The oil is the medium. The body is the altar.
